Yes, John, where do you draw the dividing line? Is it for anyone whose grandparents were not born in the UK? Do you repatriate all the income your ancestors earned from slavery and colonialism, which is valued at 18 trillion dollars?

Maybe your ancestors should have stayed away from other people’s land. Also, should all expats be sent back to the UK?

Also, which countries do you include and exclude in your expatriation? Do you also believe that there will be no political or economic repercussions?

Do you realise that the Qatari owns Canary Wharf in London, as are vast chunks of Mayfair, Battersea development by a Malaysian, and Vauxhall by the Chinese?

Who stated that it was not economically prudent to invest in car manufacturing? Was it, by any chance, Tony Blair and Gordon Brown?

Also, would you exempt the Three Million Hong Kong Chinese who have been given a free pass to live in the UK?

Do you realise that Canada has refused a trade deal with the UK? The UK had to penalise its farmers to acquire a trade deal with Australia and New Zealand.

Please name me a British-owned car manufacturer. Nissan? Rolls Royce? McLaren? Land Rover? Jaguar? Ford? Vauxhall? Aston Martin? Mini? MG? Do you realise that they are all foreign-owned, and the British government is being blackmailed into giving them massive subsidies?

An example is Land Rover Jaguar, owned by the Indian conglomerate Tata, which also owns most of the steel plants in the UK. The UK government gave Tata 600 million pounds to build cars in Slovakia and India. Yes, I know they stated in was to build electric Jaguars in the UK.

While you are at it, do you realise that the scores of universities will go bust in the UK? The National Health Service will most likely collapse. You will not have access to GPs, etc.

Gone are the days when the UK can dictate to the world what to do. Without hanging onto the coattails of the US, the UK’s influence would be near zero.

Good luck with having a Labour government and the US re-electing Trump. Again, do you realise that most of the big football clubs in the UK are foreign-owned?

But I guess you are not referring to the people above. Why do you believe the Labour Party is aping the Conservative policies? Would it be because they have no choice? Many of the assets in the country are owned by foreigners.

By the way, who allowed the above to happen? Please, don’t say it was those pesky foreigners: Your ‘own’ people sold you out. The same people who no doubt benefited most from slavery.
