Thank you for writing this; I have been thinking the same thing recently. With the UK’s withdrawal from the European Union, more companies are hiring people of colour, particularly in the service industries. However, the vast majority of managerial roles are occupied by whites. Blacks are now excelling academically. This is because many families send their children to after-school classes because they have lost faith in the public education system. What are the implications of having managers who are predominantly white overseeing a black workforce?
