Savour the taste,
Never eat in haste,
Flavours to contemplate,
They are born of this place,
This most delectable of fruits.

The sunshine kisses your lips.
The sun bursting between your teeth,
Tastes to relish, nothing tastes so sweet,
The salty-sweet, acerbic juice.
The burgundy berries with velvet skins.
They stain your mouth and hands.
Place on your tongue, feel the texture, savoured in a dream.
The flavours burst and spike the palette.
Feel the rush from the sweetness and tartness.
They crush you from the rush.
Velvet, the sea grapes blush.
Those burgundy nuggets, a taste you will never forget.
They line the golden beaches that shimmer in the Caribbean Sun.
They acquire their flavour from the sea washes and the sun.

The sea grapes are in season.
More reasons to visit the beach.
To savour the quintessential taste of the Caribbean in your mouth,
The trees are not too high, so they are easy to reach.
Eat and experience the joys of…
