Sadly, the picture you paint against The Right is a little distorted. What I mean by this is who one associates as being the extreme right. Fascism is not the preserve of 'white' patriarchy. Two of the Great Replacement Theory proponents were/are openly gay, Pim Fortuyn and Jean Renaud Gabriel Camus. I have heard many gays defend their ideas by saying they agree that Islam is a threat to gays. Never mind that in the United Kingdom and the United States, some of the most vocal supporters of conversion therapy and other antigay rhetoric and laws are Christians, including the Catholic Church and born again Fundamentalists. Gays, I would argue, are not more or less likely to support right-wing ideals. I have argued that the fight for equality for some equates to being given the right to discriminate. From my experience as a gay black man, I would argue that racism is prevalent in the United Kingdom's gay scene. Correspondingly, Homophobia is on the rise in many black countries. I would argue that what one needs to fight against are the values and beliefs of the extreme right no matter what ism they identify with.
