Never a true master? I am not a philosopher but does this not equate to saying that humans don’t have free will? We are instead victims of social systems or biology. The slave might not consider his master to be his master but does the master consider himself a master and superior to the slave. Maybe you are speaking hypothetically? Human history is littered with those who consider themselves superior to others and have used science to support their hypothesis.
