I love you use the words “contributed to the defeat of the Nazis and Hitler”, rather than the phrased often used in the U.K. that he/we won the war, implying that he/the British singularly won the war.

“On another, he claimed that people from India are “the beastliest people in the world next to the Germans.” It is surprising how many contemporary Indian elites hold British Imperialism and notions of superiority in such high regards. For example, Dr Kartar Lalvani, the owner of Vitabiotics stating that The British “should be proud of the British Empire”. It is also a sentiment expressed by a number of prominent Indian industrialists
