Is it all truly meaningless? The games and performances we perform.

Do they ever perceive a reality outside the norm? The train ploughs on; all the voices are on song. They stand tall, basking in their self-deluded grandeur, pomp, pimps and circumstances. So they defined new credos and thus was born the religious and profane. Whatever may come can be commodified. Commodification guarantees their survival.

The masses thus colluded in these acts, therefore making them more real. Some deem it the Hyper-real — a world where the emotive signifier strips out all others. Hence, we find ourselves basking in collective euphoria and hysteria. It is a world devoid of meaning and truth.

Are we still so deluded as to believe in Kings, Queens and Oligarchs? Is this how we measure human worth? Why do we fall for these performative acts?

Why do we keep our minds chained in feudal value systems? Why do some believe in their inferiority and thus promote social status hierarchies? Why do we make Demigods of women and men?

Why is it so challenging to perceive other ways of being? Why do we chain ourselves to the past? What will it take for us to change?

Alas, anything short of Armageddon will not suffice. Strangely, this is what some fundamentalists believe. No matter how desperate things get, they will…
