Black Friday
It is indeed a ‘black’ day for the planet, a day when we celebrate gluttony, greed, and excess. It is the feast of consumerism, symbolic of a world gone mad. We buy not out of need but out of greed, so, with glee, we plant the seeds of our demise. We walk with open eyes into oblivion. In union, we sing one glorious perverse song, and so the melody goes on and on. We walk like drunks drunk on the punch of excess.
A Day of Mourning for the Earth.
Let them celebrate while the rest of the world and the natives mourn this day. The 28th of November should be a day of mourning. It all started when the ungrateful cemented their beliefs in their superiority, to take, and to believe that others are obliged to give unto them because of who they are. It was thus the dawn of their supremacy, and thus, they cemented this fallacy.
So, on this day, let us all wear black in mourning for the death of human decency: the birth and reign of Western Oligarchy and Technocracy. On this day, there is nothing for the rest of the world to be thankful for. Instead, we should mourn the death of empathy and kindness — the basic tenets of our humanity. All are running empty. Long may greed and suffering prevail. Humanity has become a parody masked in the tragedy of its hubris.
