A Beautiful Day

Thank you for another beautiful day
What can one say?
It was a pleasure, one that was beyond measure.

We surrender to days like these, experiences to be forever treasured.
They are moments lived in the present.

It is wonderful getting to know you,
Like the cotton ball clouds in the azure sky that floated above our heads, the nuggets of knowledge blossomed: humidity, temperature, moisture, and velocity came into being: the alchemist’s dreams.

Insights were tenuously acquired, interpreted, and stored — synapses linked, new information created, and thoughts dilated.

On the Common, I could see the expanse, a sense of becoming and endless horizons. You spoke of Central Park, but it felt more confined to my memory. Was it an omen to clear the slate and start anew? Knowledge acquired from the past does not necessarily define the future.

Who knows what the future brings? A wish to form, a diamond is crystallising; who knows? So are the ways of the world. We encountered the occasional tree in bloom on our ramblings across the park.

A sounding — desires are beckoning.

Your laughter is sublime, as fragile as glass. Joyous is the timbre embedded within, a vibrato and staccato, tenuous exuberant echoes.
